8495 - Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Our client is an international company within food and agriculture industry segment and in order to strengthen their team on one of the key roles within the organization in Serbia, we are searching for a leader with strategic and operative capabilities. Further more, S/He should have great communication, organization and analytics skills and capability to lead people and implement new processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, oversee and implement annual and periodic budgetary plans, regular reporting, and analysis as may be required in accordance with group policies
  • Responsible for financial planning and analysis, develop financial strategies to optimize the company’s profitability
  • Assist and monitor the implementation of strategic business plans  and supporting business to maximize profitability of operations and ensure compliance with budgetary commitments
  • Controlling compliance of all finance operations and accounting policies
  • Oversee the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury functions

  • Handles cooperation with banks, internal and external audits, government officials, foreign and local management 

  • Implementation of SAGE ERP

  • Participate in key decision making with the senior and operations management team

  • Oversee the financial administration, including cash flow management, forecast, finance reporting and reporting according to the company’s cash position and liquidity all aligned in accordance with group policies and procedure 

  • Monitors the changes of domestic and international accounting standards and their implementation, as well as other activities in the area of accounting and financial operations of the Company

Candidate profile:

  • University degree in economy or business administration

  • Experience in agriculture, manufacturing  industry or audit would be an asset

  • CPA or ACCA certificate is an advantage

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience  within large or medium size organizations (experience within international companies is seen as advantage) 

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards and tax legislation 

  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system and BI Tools (HFM) is advantage

  • Strong computer (Word, Excel, Power point etc.) and data base  skills 

  • Good knowledge of English language (minimum B2 level)
