8563 - Business Development Agronomist

For our client a global leader in sustainable solutions for agriculture with its major business in plant nutrition products and bio-stimulants, we are looking for an experienced agricultural.
Key aim: As a Business Development Agronomist, your role would be to provide technical and sales assistance for each assigned Product Line in the pre- and post-sale stages to distributors, customers, and companies to achieve effective commercial launches and sales goals. You will be responsible for business development in Serbia, Croatia and Hungary and will report directly to the regional manager for Europe.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Participate and execute our product lines’ expansion and consolidation plan (field trials, training sessions)
Support the local sales force to achieve their annual goals
Serve as technical focal point for specific products and crops in the assigned territory
Provide agronomic support, training and coaching to our partner, key customers, and growers
Supporting marketing activities for product positioning, messaging, and representing the Company at relevant events and activities in the assigned territory
Analyze trial requirements in collaboration with all stakeholders and define the most efficient ways to plan, execute them and drive the results
Required competencies:
Agriculture Engineering or extensive practical experience in agronomy
Agronomical background in Crop nutrition
Strong technical aptitude, including ability to synthesize and interpret agronomic data and design effective trials
Commercial attitude and good communication skills
Excellent knowledge of English language. Hungarian would be a plus
Location: Serbia – Novi Sad region with availability to travel to other countries in the region
