For our client one of the European leaders in production of special parts for various industries, we are looking for an experienced professional with good knowledge of production process, planning, quality control and people management.

Key aim: As a plant manager, your major role would be to manage production, planning, quality process and people in such a way as to reach production objectives within required standards, healt, safety and environmental measures at all times. You will be responsible for optimization of production process, people motivation and development as well as support to new investment projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Planning, organizing, monitoring the production process and participating in budgeting

  • Optimization, improvement of production and work processes in accordance with the standards of the parent company from abroad

  • Involvement in all segments that ensure quality, standards and continuity in production (planning, maintenance, procurement, logistics, warehousing) 

  • Conducting corrective measures with the support of colleagues from abroad

  • Continuous cooperation with various internal departments (finance, procurement, sales, logistics, quality) as well as external  audit companies and Institutions

  • Managing, coordinating and supporting people in order to improve their performances

  • Involved in people evaluation, training and development 

  • Organizing, conducting meetings and reporting to the General Manager 

Required competencies:

  • University degree preferably technical (mechanical engineering) or technology (Chemistry)

  • Min 5 years of relevant management experience within industrial production environment (preferably: production management, planning or maintenance) 

  • Understanding technical process, reading diagrams and knowledge about mechanical equipment (process, automation) 

  • Business mindset (experience in budgeting, knowledge about P&L)

  • People management and leadership skills 

  • Good knowledge of English language (minimum B2)

  • MS Office regular user, experience in working within ERP systems.

  • Driving license (B cat.)
