8586 - Technical Sales Executive
For our client, a successful company in the field of industrial software engineering, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated candidate.
Key aim: As a technical sales executive, you will use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to promote and sell company software products by demonstrating the advanced technical functions of the product as well as its uses and benefits, to the EU and North America customers. Technical sales executives are a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and after-sales advice.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions
Organize and hold online and live sales meetings with clients individually, or with support from other sales/technical colleages
Engaging in pre-sales, sales, and post-sales activities with an emphasis on engaging in B2B pre-sales
Make technical and commercial presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
Assist colleagues with bids and tenders for new clients from a technical perspective
Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
Help in defining marketing strategies based on gathering information from the market
Excellent knowledge of English language
BA / MSc degree in Technical Sciences preferable
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, a person should have a technical background and sales experience or affinity to do sales activities
