8602 - Technical Sales Agronomist
For our client, an international agricultural seed company which is developing their operations in the Balkans region, we are searching for a devoted, innovative, and proactive candidate.
Key aim: This person would be responsible for business development, promotion, and sales of seed of winter and spring crops in the key Balkans regions: Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Bosnia. Responsibility for application and follow up for Registration is included for Serbia.
The technical sales agronomist would be engaged in 3 key areas of duties: Product development, sales development, and application for registration purpose.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Search appropriate and representative locations where to place trials and ensure they are well managed
Supervise trials execution, visit them, take traits score and collects samples
Map the distribution network, understand competitors’ strategy and competitors’ products by country
Handless day to day communication with stakeholders (distributors, dealers, farmers, farmers groups & associations) and provides technical advice to customers (distributors, dealers, farmers)
Help to organize and manage field days, meeting with farmers, field visits with selected group of stakeholders
Prepare and submit all needed documents for the registration process and its monitoring
Report to the management on activities performed, trial status, registration, and market novelty
BA / MSc degree in agriculture
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, person should have a technical background and sales experience or affinity to do sales activities
Good crop management knowledge
Excellent command of English language while knowledge of additional language (Hungarian/ Romanian / Bulgarian) would be considered a plus
Mobility and willingness to travel across all the mentioned countries
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Power Point)
Driving license B category
