Lafarge Serbia is part of the Holcim Group, which is a world leader in the construction materials industry We solve the challenges that clients face around the world, whether they are building individual homes or large infrastructure projects. We have been present in Serbia since 2002 in two business segments, Cement and RMX. Since 2022, we have expanded our business to Aggregates and asphalt with the tendency of further expansion. For our business in Serbia, we are looking for a new team member to strengthen our HR team.

On behalf of our client, Lafarge Serbia, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional.

About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced highly motivated professional Talent Manager, who will meet the high demands of our businesses and persevere in realizing the vision of the HR sector  as a business partner in management decision-making.

Position is located in our office Belgrade. Position require certain mobility, occasional visits to our production sites and office in Beočin - Cement plant.


In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent in Serbia. Implementation of the strategy of Talent management in accordance with the needs of the organization Lafarge Serbia when it comes to knowledge, abilities, skills and potential of employees

  • Implement the Group Policy in the area of Talent Management and will manage implementation in accordance with local needs and priorities as well as the individual needs of employees

  • Support the implementation of the Program for the mobilization of employees in order to improving the mobility of employees

  • Lead the special project connected to people development or to be part of this project for the talent population;

  • Lead the process of international transfers, regularly monitor the development of talents during work in other countries, maintain contact with talents, react with proposals and measures in case of the need to change the process

  • Manages the following Talent management core processes: job descriptions, job evaluations, management by objectives, annual performance appraisals, succession planning, career management, other related programs.

  • Advise senior and middle management on issues related to staffing of professionals and talent potential employees;

  • Organize and direct recruiting projects for all business areas (young talents) and all management and key positions and supervises recruitment projects in all sites (Cement, A&C, AF and RMX)

  • Participate/organize in the assessment of talents for promotion, inter-sites transfer, local cross-business transfer, short/long term assignment and expatriation;

  • Oversee the development of young professionals/talents. Ensure effective performance management by setting performance goals, providing guidance, and recognizing outstanding performance;

  • Monitor the performance (develop the tool) and career development of the existing newcomers position and follow up their IDP. Active rule in the process of preparation IDP and follow up of this process for all potential people in the company;

  • Develop programs intended to build up the teamwork, communication, leadership and coaching abilities that will effectively contribute to the faster development of the talent potentials; 

  • You will also participate in other projects at the behest of your direct manager – Country O&HR director.


What you need to be successful:

Background:

  • Bachelors degree preferably in Business Administration, Legal, HR management, Industrial Engineering 

  • At least 7-8 years of experience in a similar position preferably in an international environment

  • Experience in talent management

  • Employer Branding experience 

  • Professional proficiency in English
