8739 - Finance and Accounting Manager

For our client, an international production company, we are searching for an experienced and proactive candidate.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Produce financial reports and statements for both internal and external use
Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of entered data in the system
Monitor the trial balance on a daily, monthly, and annual basis, identifying and correcting any discrepancies
Manage analytical balance cards for suppliers and customers (domestic and foreign), participating in their harmonization and reconciliation as needed
Control and validate all tax and official declarations to local authorities (VAT, tax returns, final accounts, annual reports, etc.)
Collaborate with external partners (auditors, banks, tax authorities)
Lead and develop accounting team
Participate in organizing the monthly and yearly financial close process
Review journal entries, account balance reconciliations, and prepare reports
Manage daily cash and bank operations
Forecast cash inflows and outflows to anticipate any cash needs
Propose, adapt, and implement internal accounting policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate guidelines
Monitor, report, and propose changes to comply with evolving tax, accounting, or administrative regulations and laws
Participate in cost calculation and margin analysis with the Financial Controller
Contribute to budget and forecasting processes alongside the Financial Controller
Assist in improving existing software and ERP systems, including testing new developments
Reporting to CFO Europe
Required competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a production company
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
PC literacy – MS Office package, ERP systems
