For our client, an international production company, we are searching for an experienced and proactive candidate.

Major objective: 

Responsible for the provision of fit-for-purpose IT services which meet the requirements and objectives of the business, including applications, infrastructure and security. Responsible for collaborating with the Management Team to understand business priorities and align the IT roadmap and service delivery in line with them. Service delivery model will be a hybrid, combining locally delivered services with those provided by internal and external third party providers. Scope of role is mainly focused on the ‘Office / Corporate IT’ environment, with the ‘Operational / Industrial IT’ environment managed elsewhere

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the IT team. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices

  • Manage Company’s IT Operations. Embed IT Service Management practices, oversee day-to-day activities, set priorities, measure efficiency, continuously improve service delivery

  • Plan, implement and maintain Company’s technology infrastructure in line with Company’s strategy and security standards

  • Define and control IT department’s budget

  • Efficiently manage 3rd party outsourcing contracts relevant to your area

  • Within your area of responsibility, cooperate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with regional/central IT teams and align IT strategies with Company’s business goals and objectives

  • Maintain compliance with IT-related policies and frameworks within the local IT department’s scope:  IT policies, SOx, GDPR, etc. Adopt and adhere to the mandatory regional and central IT initiatives

  • Deliver IT projects and provide support to business projects from IT perspective

  • M&A - lead IT input at all stages of the M&A pipeline, including due diligence input; integration planning; TSA negotiation / management; integration project delivery; & extending service delivery to include newly acquired entity

  • Digital – collaborate with Management Team to identify, evaluate, pilot and implement digital initiatives which can add value to the business

Required competencies:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree 

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant professional experience (e.g. management position in an IT function)

  • Understanding of current and emerging technologies

  • Strong project management skills

  • Fluent in English language
