8783 - Production Engineer

For our client, a Western European company that has a smaller production unit in Serbia and which is specialized in design, development, and manufacturing of advanced exhaust systems and precision components, we are looking for candidates.
Responsibilities:
Planning and optimizing production layout and material flow
Production plans and organizing work orders preparation
Maintenance plans preparation
Actual repair participation or outsource for more complex issues when needed
Leading and supervising foremen, shift leaders, and machine operators
Training and onboarding new employees
Ensuring compliance with work discipline, safety regulations, and company procedures
Development and implementation of measures for productivity improvement
Equipment technical condition monitoring
Design and planning new jigs and tools
Participation in decision-making regarding investments, modernization, and new technologies
PPAP/PSW documentation preparation and support audits and certifications
Ensuring compliance with deadlines, norms, and quality standards
Requirements:
University degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronics OR technical high school with 10-15 years of relevant experience
Previous experience in machine and equipment maintenance will be considered an advantage.
Experience as a supervisor or team leader.
Ability to understand technical documentation and mechanical processes.
Necessary knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring their implementation in daily operations
Computer skills (MS Office – especially Excel, AutoCAD – basic level).
English language proficiency at an intermediate level.
